A street in New York in the USA is named after the national hero, Gjergj Kastriot Skënderbeu.

The new name at the intersection of Crescent Avenue and Adams Place was approved earlier this year by New York City, at the request of former city council member and Albanian-American activist Mark Gjonaj.
